桃園市政府持續深耕眷村文化保存推廣20餘年，延續過往成果與動能，與財團法人榮民榮眷基金會合作設立「中華民國眷村資源中心」。以「蒐集、教育、交流、推廣、跨域」為使命，教育推廣為核心，建構一個全國性眷村知識串連與交流平台。透過集結各地眷村保存推廣能量，期望將榮民及眷村之珍貴記憶傳承下一代，一同擘劃未來眷村的各種可能性。
aoyuan City Government has continued to promote and cultivate the cultural preservation of military kindred villages over the past 20 years. Keeping on its achievements and momentum going, here we announce the establishment of the “Military Kindred Village Resource Center of ROC (Taiwan)” cooperating with the Veterans and Dependents Foundation, ROC. Together, we build a nationwide platform to connect and exchange our knowledge on military kindred villages studies by “collecting, inheriting, communicating, promoting and interdisciplinary learning”. Through all of these hard works on preserving local military villages, we hope that the precious memories of the veterans and military villages will be carried on to the next generation with all kinds of possibilities.
